Falafel Sandwich is most delicious sandwich made with mashed crispy fried chickpea fritters ,salad, and creamy tahina sauce.

Ingredients
Falafel
- 1 1/2 cup chickpea
- 1 small onion
- 5 garlic cloves
- 1 cup parsely chopped
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp redchilli powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Pita Bread
- 2 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1 tbsp instant yeast
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp milk powder
- salt to taste
- Luke warm water for kneading
Tahina Sauce
- 2 tbsp yoghurt
- 1/4 cup Tahina suce
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp milk
salad
- 1 cup lettuce chopped
- 1/2 cup cucumber sliced
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp parsely chopped

Instructions
To Make pita bread
- In a bowl mix together flour,salt,milk powder, yeast then add in the olive oil and mix
- Then add in the luke warm water and knead to soft dough and allow it to rest for 1 hour until its double in size.
- When its double knead again and make small balls out of it.
- Roll each ball into thin rounds and cook both sides until its puffed.
Falafel
- Soak the Chick pea overnight.
- Grind the soaked chickpea , parsely,garlic clove, onion chopped, cumin powder, coriander powder,redchilli powder, salt,flour,Lemon juice till coarse and not paste.Donot add ant water.
- Transfer the mix to a bowl shape them into round balls and flatten them and fry them in oil till crisp..
Tahina sauce
- Mix together yoghurt,tahina paste , lemon juice, milk to smooth paste.
- prepare the salad by mixing together ingredient under salad.
Assemble the sandwich
- cut the pita bread into half .To each pocket add in the slightly crushed falafels, salad and drizzle with tahina sauce and serve..
